Our Process

Step 1.
Design and measure

The first appointment is all about getting to know you and understanding what you want to achieve, hard finishes you would like to use, functionality, appliances, budget etc. This appointment usually happens onsite so we can measure and discuss the design of your kitchen, and achieve a suitable layout that will meet your budget and needs. (Floor and elevation plans can be emailed through with hard finishes for estimate costing to info@alohajoinery.com.au).

At this meeting we can establish a kitchen layout and what features best suit your needs, we will also discuss which finish for your doors drawers and panels, top finishes, handles, finger pull etc. They will also discuss the various trades people you will require and the option of using your own trades people versus Aloha Joinery recommended contractors.

Our quotes include the manufacturing and installing of cabinets, tops. For us to get a better understanding of your requirements please download this form and complete before your appointment.

Step 2.
Quote

We provide you via email a quote detailing your new proposed kitchen design with indicative pricing. We always welcome you to our showroom to view samples, door and benchtop materials or to discuss your kitchen design further. All our trading terms and what’s included is emailed to you with our quotation.

Step 3.
3d floor and elevation plans

Once you have confirmed that you are going ahead with your kitchen we carry out a comprehensive final measure of the kitchen area at your home. On confirming you intend to purchase you pay an initial 50% deposit and we arrange the final measure. This measure is designed to ensure that the kitchen perfectly fits the space and that there will be no surprises on the day of installation. We will be needing details of appliance choices if you have not already provided them. Once the final measure is completed, you will get to view realistic Floor and Elevation plans with 3D images and specified materials, colours and hardware. Any alterations to the design can usually be made before plans are approved (please note changing design of cabinets after sign off will incur a variation cost).

We then will allocate you an installation date and send your finalised plan through to our factory so the kitchen building process can be commenced. A progress payment of 40% is required the day before installation. If you are using Aloha Joinery’s recommended trades people they will make contact with you to discuss the work that may need to be done both prior to and after the kitchen is installed.

Once these plans are signed off by the customer we start to manufacture your kitchen in our factory.

Step 4.
Installation

The installation of the cabinets typically takes one to five days, depending on materials you have chosen. If you have ordered a Laminate Bench Top it will be fitted at the same time as the cabinets. Stone tops are measured on site after the cabinets are installed and installed in 3-10 working days (a temporary template top is fitted). Our team carefully monitor your installation and are available to discuss and rectify any issues that may arise.

Once your kitchen installation is complete, we will conduct a quality audit of your new kitchen. All doors, drawers and integrated appliances will be adjusted and leveled and final payment of 10% will be invoiced for payment.
